Creative Scholarships for Art Majors & Non-Art Majors
At Conscious College Planning, I believe in advocating for and acknowledging students' talents. So, whether you’re planning on majoring in an art-based major or biology, you can participate in this design contest.
I’m encouraging college-bound high school students like you to create an inspirational sticker that motivates and encourages your peers to start thinking about their futures. Whether it's planning for college, pursuing their passions, or setting career goals, I want your design to inspire action and ignite a sense of purpose in those who see it.

How to Get Started
Feeling inspired? Ready to unleash your inner artist? Here's how you can get started on creating your winning sticker design and how to apply for the scholarship:
Understand the Theme: Take some time to think about what it means to plan for the future. What messages or imagery resonate with you personally? Whether it's a quote, a symbol, or a visual metaphor, find something that captures the essence of conscious college planning.
Brainstorm Ideas: Grab a pen and paper (or your favorite digital drawing tool) and start brainstorming ideas for your sticker design. Use any medium that you like. Don't be afraid to think outside the box and explore different concepts.
Sketch It Out: Once you have some ideas brewing, start sketching out rough drafts of your design. Play around with different layouts, colors, and styles until you find something that feels just right. If you create a 2D design, you must take a bright, clear photo so it can be converted to a digital format. The design size should be approximately 2” - 3”.
Before you get started, please contact me so I can share the hex codes for my branding colors. (email listed below) While the design is completely up to your interpretation, Conscious College Planning’s branded colors should still be represented. You CAN use other colors in addition to the ones I share with you.
Refine and Finalize: Once you've settled on a design you're happy with, take the time to refine and finalize it. Pay attention to details like line thickness, color gradients, and font choices to ensure your design looks polished and professional.
Submit Your Entry: Finally, when your design is ready to go, submit it to Conscious College Planning by emailing the file to: Jackie@ConsciousCollegePlanning.com
Be sure to include your full name, what college you plan on attending, a brief explanation of the inspiration behind your design, and why you believe it would make a great sticker.

Who can apply: High school seniors, graduating class of 2024
(graduating from a U.S. high school and attending a U.S. college)

How many designs can I submit? You can submit up to 2 sticker designs
Deadline: Email your image file (pdf, png, jpg, or ai) to Jackie@ConsciouscollegePlanning.com by Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
The winner(s) will be notified by Tuesday, May 30, 2024. I will announce the winner(s) on my Instagram and Facebook page and email the selected artists individually.
Additional Rules and Info: There is no GPA requirement, and you do not have to major in art or graphic design to participate.
I will choose at least one winner for this artistic talent scholarship, but I may choose several winners depending on how many designs I wish to use.
The $250 scholarship will be awarded directly to the student or parent and used for educational purposes.
By participating in this contest, you consent to your submitted designs being printed onto promotional items and marketing materials for Conscious College Planning if you are chosen as a winner. If your design is not chosen, Conscious College Planning will not use it. There is no further compensation beyond the $250 award.
